Membership Terms & Conditions
This agreement has been prepared in order to outline the services and benefits to be provided as part of our Peace of Mind Maintenance Plan Membership, which will ensure installed equipment is maintained to the highest possible level. The following outlined parts, procedures, and services have been prepared in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications and are designed to maintain the equipment’s factory condition and warranty. The Peace of Mind Maintenance Plan Membership applies only to Residential Systems installed in Residential Homes. (For Commercial Maintenance Plans, please contact our office.) Memberships are only valid for one service address.
OK Heating Ltd. employs certified HVAC technicians and apprentices. We guarantee that only fully trained and insured technicians will be providing the services of this agreement. OK Heating Ltd. carries all necessary safety and insurance coverage to protect you, our valued customer, your property, as well as our employees.
Member Benefits
As a Member of our Peace of Mind Maintenance Plans, you are entitled to certain services and benefits as stated in the membership plan of your choice. Your selected plan may or may not include the following:

In addition to these benefits, our service technicians will always provide you with up front pricing for any required or recommended repairs before they are performed. This will ensure you are always fully aware of the costs associated with your repair.
Annual Maintenance Check
The Member shall receive one Annual Maintenance Check (the ‘Annual Maintenance Check’) for their equipment, up to the maximum number and type of equipment listed in the Peace of Mind Maintenance Plan Membership description located on our website https://okheating.net. The ‘Annual Maintenance Check’ consists of a multi-point inspection for each piece of equipment covered under the selected Maintenance Plan. OK Heating Ltd. shall contact the Member to schedule an appointment date and time for the Annual Maintenance Check. Members will receive a copy of the Inspection Report upon completion of the Annual Maintenance Check.
Labour for replacement of maintenance materials is included in the ‘Annual Maintenance Check’, provided they are replaced at the time of performing the ‘Annual Maintenance Check’. Labour for replacement of additional maintenance materials outside of those replaced during the ‘Annual Maintenance Check’ (such as, but not limited to, 1” pleated filters) is not included, and shall be performed by the homeowner as recommended by the technician. Costs for maintenance materials are not included in the Membership Benefits and will be invoiced separately.
Upon completion of the scheduled Annual Maintenance Check, should any components require further or immediate attention (‘Recommendations’) the Member will be notified and OK Heating Ltd. will complete such recommendations upon Member’s approval. Any materials, parts, and/or labour required to complete the ‘Recommendations’ will be invoiced separately from the Peace of Mind Maintenance Plan Membership.
Loyalty Rewards
Members who have maintained their Peace of Mind Maintenance Plan Membership for a minimum of 36 consecutive months may be offered a rebate from OK Heating Ltd. in the form of a cash discount, percentage discount, free product, or other form when purchasing add-on equipment or upgrading/replacing their existing equipment. This rebate is not associated to any manufacturer rebates. However, it may be offered in full or in part with the manufacturer rebates as presented by OK Heating Ltd. at the time of pricing the equipment.
Preferred Labour Rate
On-Demand Service labour charges for our Members will be charged at a reduced rate compared to our regular (non-Member) On-Demand service labour rate. The preferred labour rate will apply to ‘On-Demand Service Repairs’, provided the Member’s account is in good standing.
Should the Member decline any of the ‘Recommendations’ from the Annual Maintenance Check and at a later date require On-Demand service, they will forfeit any applicable discounts if the cause of the breakdown, as deemed by OK Heating Ltd., is a result of not completing the ‘Recommendations’.
Direct Contact to Service Technician
OK Heating Ltd. will ensure a service technician (or office staff, during regular office hours) is available to receive your service request Monday to Friday (weekdays) from 9AM to 8PM, Saturday to Sunday (weekend) from 10AM to 5PM, statutory holidays excluded (the “Service Hours”). If a service request is made outside of the Service Hours, OK Heating Ltd. will contact the Member as soon as possible within the next following Service Hours. This service does not guarantee immediate On-Demand service, although it may be provided if possible.
Priority On-Demand Service
‘Priority On-Demand Service’ refers to requests for On-Demand service outside of the Member’s scheduled ‘Annual Maintenance Check’ date. In the event that a Member requests On-Demand service, OK Heating Ltd. will place the Member’s request above other requests received from non-members. OK Heating Ltd. will make every possible effort to have a technician available during the Service Hours to perform On-Demand service for its Members. If a technician is not available to fulfill the Member’s request for On-Demand service during the Service Hours, it will be determined at the discretion of OK Heating Ltd., a time and/or date to fulfill the On-Demand service request.
*Please note, this is NOT a 24 Hour, 7 days per week repair service. On-Demand Service requests must be made no later than 2 hours prior to the end of the Service Hours to allow for completion of necessary repairs. On-Demand Service requests made outside of the Service Hours will be contacted as soon as possible within the next following Service Hours. There is no guarantee of technician availability, including statutory holidays.
Discounts
Members may receive a discount on products and services provided by OK Heating Ltd. as listed in the Peace of Mind Maintenance Plan Membership descriptions located on our website https://okheating.net. Repair parts include, but are not limited to: motors, limits, sensors, ignition controls, and gas valves. Maintenance materials include, but are not limited to: filters, UV bulbs, humidifier pads, and steam humidifier canisters.
These discounts will apply to products and services used during the ‘Annual Maintenance Check’, ‘On-Demand Service Repair’, and in-store purchases of maintenance materials, provided the Member’s account is in good standing.
Should the Member decline any of the ‘Recommendations’ from the Annual Maintenance Check and at a later date require On-Demand service, they will forfeit any applicable discounts if the cause of the breakdown, as deemed by OK Heating Ltd., is a result of not completing the ‘Recommendations’.
On-Demand Service Credit
For Peace of Mind Maintenance Plan Memberships that include an On-Demand Service Credit (‘Service Credit’), the amount outlined in the corresponding plan on our website https://okheating.net may be applied to a Member’s On-Demand Service invoice. The Service Credit amount may only be applied to Member’s accounts that are in good standing and provided the ‘Recommendations’ from the Annual Maintenance Check have been completed. The Service Credit may not be applied to charges for completion of any Recommendations. The Service Credit may only be used once per annual membership cycle and shall only be applied to On-Demand Service charges, including repair parts and labour, up to the total amount of the included Service Credit. Any remaining Service Credit amounts will be forfeited and will not carry over to any future On-Demand Service invoices or to the next annual membership cycle. The full On-Demand Service Credit will renew on the Membership anniversary date.
No After-Hours Fees
After-hours fees will not be charged to Peace of Mind Maintenance Plan Members provided their account is in good standing and the ‘Recommendations’ from the Annual Maintenance Check have been completed.
Service History Document Storage
OK Heating Ltd. shall maintain a complete service history of the equipment covered under the Maintenance Plan for each Member, thereby ensuring consistent and accurate servicing of equipment and units. This service history may be provided to equipment manufacturers for the purpose of submitting warranty claims.
Supply of Parts and Materials
All parts and materials to be installed by OK Heating Ltd. (including but not limited to filters) shall be supplied by OK Heating Ltd.
Travel
Travel expenses may be applicable depending upon customer location. These expenses will be invoiced separately from the Peace of Mind Maintenance Plan Membership.
Payment
The Peace of Mind Maintenance Plan Membership fee is collected by means of a monthly credit card charge or via Paypal account as selected in the sign-up process located on OK Heating Ltd.’s website https://okheating.net. Any charges or fees over and above the Peace of Mind Maintenance Plan Membership fee are 100% due in full upon completion of services rendered. These additional charges or fees will be invoiced separately from the Peace of Mind Maintenance Plan Membership fee.
Dishonoured/Returned Payments
OK Heating Ltd. shall be entitled to charge the Member a fee of $50.00 for any payment reversed or returned for non-sufficient funds.
Taxes
Prices do not include taxes unless stated otherwise by OK Heating Ltd.
Renewal
This Membership is a monthly subscription and shall be automatically renewed each year on the date that is 12 months from the date of signing (the “Renewal Date”), unless cancelled as per the Cancellation Terms.
Cancellation
The Member agrees to the minimum term of 12 (twelve) months from the sign-up date for the Peace of Mind Maintenance Plan Membership (the “Minimum Term”). Cancellation of the Peace of Mind Maintenance Plan Membership prior to the expiry of the Minimum Term may result in additional charges to the Member. These charges include, but are not limited to, monthly membership fees for the remainder of the Minimum Term, the recovery of expenses incurred by OK Heating Ltd. or its employees in collection of outstanding invoices, legal fees, and administration fees. Cancellation of the Peace of Mind Maintenance Plan Membership must be done in writing and received by either party within 10 (ten) business days prior to the next scheduled monthly membership charge. Should changes in the cost of the Membership fee occur, Members will be notified of such changes 30 (thirty) days prior to the effective date of any price change. Members may cancel their Membership free of penalty, as per this cancellation policy, if the Membership fee is subjected to a price change. Membership fees collected prior to cancellation will not be refunded.
Member’s Responsibility
The Member, or Member’s authorized agent, shall maintain a visual service procedure to ensure that equipment is operational between scheduled ‘Annual Maintenance Checks’. These procedures should include, but are not limited to, observing filter condition, observing any abnormal diagnostic light codes or sounds that could indicate an issue, and removing any stored items, debris, and/or landscape materials that may have accumulated around the equipment. It is recommended that a record of these maintenance procedures be maintained for reference or equipment warranty purposes.
Disclaimer
OK Heating Ltd. does not warranty or guarantee against any operational loss. No guarantee is made that repair parts are in stock or available for equipment covered under this agreement. If we are not able to perform any of our obligations under this Agreement because of circumstances or events beyond our control, we shall be excused from the performance of such obligations for the duration of such circumstances or events and we shall not be liable to you for such failure to perform.
These Peace of Mind Maintenance Plan Memberships are not insurance and it is understood that this agreement covers only those items outlined above and does not include any expense to repair damage caused by improper operation, accident, theft, acts of nature or alteration of equipment, vandalism, fire, flood, freezing, earthquake, other natural disasters, acts of war, acts of God, unauthorized repair, if the equipment has been turned off, improper thermostat setting, or household electrical problems.
After each Annual Maintenance Check or On-Demand Service, the customer will be emailed a copy of the technician’s Inspection Report detailing any conditions found and advising whether further service is required, to assure the operational dependability of the equipment under the Membership.
The Peace of Mind Maintenance Plan Membership Benefits are subject to change without notice. Please refer to our website https://okheating.net for current Membership Benefits. Membership Benefits apply only to services provided by OK Heating Ltd. and are non-transferable. OK Heating Ltd. will not reimburse Members for costs of services preformed or parts replaced by other contractors.
Following the sign-up process, OK Heating Ltd. will contact the Member to collect the unit make, model, and serial number for the equipment the Member wishes to include in their plan. Membership Benefits apply only to equipment included in the Member’s Maintenance Plan Membership. OK Heating Ltd. may require the Member to have a complete Maintenance Check performed to ensure dependability of the equipment to be covered in the Maintenance Plan Membership prior to providing any Membership Benefits. This requirement may be determined by OK Heating Ltd. based on the last date maintenance was performed on the equipment. OK Heating Ltd. reserves the right to request documentation proving completion of such maintenance. The cost of this initial Maintenance Check will be invoiced separately from the Peace of Mind Maintenance Plan Membership fee.
Equipment that is not made accessible by the Member may be excluded from service and any applicable Membership Benefits. OK Heating Ltd. reserves the right to refuse service on equipment that is not free from stored items, debris, and/or landscape materials. The Member may also be invoiced for extra charges related to, but not limited to, lack of accessibility to equipment and additional labour/travel charges for return visits.
